MaryAnn & Richard- eSession

MaryAnn and Richard are getting married next summer in Meritt, BC and I have a pleasure of joining them out there at their beautiful Ranch. I am so excited to see it...the pictures look amazing: a gorgeous log cabin in a tall-treed valley. Richard works in the country music industry and lucky for me they were out in Alberta for the Big Valley Jamboree. Unfortunately we could only meet up one day: and it was pouring...but being country kids, they sucked it up and we shot out in the rain. I'm cold just thinking about it. lol. But I did really enjoy spending the time together and now I can't wait for your wedding. Should be unbelievable with the gorgeous setting, the musical guests and the two of you: a wonderful couple.

Cheers,
Kelsy

Lindsay & Jordan- July 26 2008

Lindsay and Jordan were married in a intimate ceremony in Jordan's parents backyard near New Norway. Lots of tears were shed throughout the day and I have to admit I got choked up a couple of times too :) Lindsay and Jordan are perfect for each other in every way and I am so pleased your day went so wonderfully.

Thanks for just being yourselves, it was a joy to photograph.

Cheers,
Kelsy

Linzy & Darren- Esession

Linzy and Darren are getting married in a couple of weeks at my favourite golf club, RedTail Landing. They are an adorable couple who loves to laugh to together. Darren's big laugh is so infectious and Linzy couldn't be any cuter if she tried. I had a lot of fun getting to know these two a bit better and now I can't wait till the 10th.

Be blessed,
Kelsy

Kristin & Tyler

Kristin and Tyler are getting married soon, next month! We met at a u-pick Raspberry farm outside of Spruce Grove. The berries were so ripe and so delicious. Tyler can even catch them with his mouth! They are cute and comfortable couple after being together for.... 7 years! We had some good laughs as we enjoyed the warm July sun...and the bugs...and the stinging nettle...well, maybe not the last two! lol.
Thanks for the insights into your lives, I am really looking forward documenting your wedding so soon.

Be blessed,
Kelsy

Kristine & Nolan- Esession

Kristine and Nolan are getting married this coming October here in Edmonton. I had the pleasure of hanging out with them and their 2 year old Chocolate Lab, Marley. Marley is Kristine's replacement during the school year as she is in her final semester of PT in Hamilton. They are a cute little family, looking forward to being together for good very soon.

So lovely to spend such a warm summer evening with you three.

Cheers,

Kelsy

Audrey & Peter- July 19th 2008

Audrey & Peter were married at St. Mary & St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church, and were wed in the Ancient Coptic Language of Egypt, which actually dates back at least 5000 years. It was beautiful and fascinating, being my first Egyptian wedding. I loved the unique traditional ceremony. Afterwards we headed out to the Beaumont area to incorporate some Alberta scenery into this multi-cultural day. The reception was held at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald, complete with a great crowd from all corners of the earth. I couldn't believe the multitude of people from, well, everywhere! I also loved the the bride belly-dancing, she was fantastic! I left just as the party was going crazy, so I sure you both had a extremely enjoyable evening.

Thanks for a great day and for trusting me and my crazy locations :)

Enjoy your life new life together in London,

Kelsy

Melanie & Jared- Esession

Melanie and Jared are getting married this August at Hastings Lake. Last night we headed out to the Devon area to photograph this adventurous couple. Just hear their honeymoon plans: spelunking, snorkeling, sleeping in a cave in Belize, going to archaeological sites in Guatemala, spending a few nights in a tree house in the jungle..... wow! Sounds like a ton of fun. I enjoy spending time with this couple and their laid-back attitude. Case-in-point, Jared ordered a Coke at DQ where we were meeting and it came back a Cone, but, hey, no big deal. lol. That set the tone for a wonderful evening of climbing through barbwire, hiking through thistles and jumping over trenches. Thanks for showing me your relaxed side, I will always take advantage of it :)

Can't wait to share in your wedding day.

Cheers,

Kelsy
