Jaclyn & Jason- Esession

Jaclyn and Jason have their date set for Valentine's Day 2009 and I'm happy to say I'll be there to photograph the day as it unfolds. We met up last night downtown to shoot some engagement portraits and I got to know the two of them a bit better. The are totally easy going and have fantasic senses of humour...I particullary liked the words they used to describe themselves :) Although by the end of our session we were shooting in a storm it was an overall a fun night, so thanks!

Melanie & Jared- August 23 2008

Melanie and Jared were married this past Saturday at Hasting Lake Gardens, just east of the city. The location was just wonderful and the sun was shinning perfectly for their garden ceremony. After emotional vows we enjoyed portraits in country and then drinks at Earls. The reception was at the Edmonton Petroleum Club and I got to sit with a great group of people talk about the mysteries of love :) It is always amazing to me to find out how couples meet and the series of "coincidences" that bring two people so perfect for each other together forever. Melanie & Jared, your story is nothing short of awesome and gives me proof again that everything happens for a reason.

Michelle & Tim- Esession

Michelle & Tim are getting married this October here in Edmonton. They are avid hikers and we found a wooded area in the City to suit their favourite activity. They braved the 10 degree weather (in August!) and actually we ended up having a pretty fun evening. Thanks for spending your time with me and the final countdown to your big day is on!

Kristin & Tyler- August 16 2008

Kristin and Tyler were married at the beautiful Edmonton Petroleum Club this past weekend. Afterwards, they wanted images that reminded them of their Northern Saskatchewan with dense forests, so we head out to Wagner Natural Area. The huge pines kept us cool from the midday heat and we even crossed paths with some wildlife. Afterwards everyone enjoyed a great reception back at the PC.

Kristin & Tyler, you are both such genuine and wonderful people. I have really loved getting to know you and wish you a lifetime of true happiness.

Linzy & Darren- August 10 2008

Linzy & Darren were married this past Sunday at my favorite Edmonton Golf Club, Redtail Landing. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful.... picture perfect for a perfect couple. Then off to hanging out in shady old buildings & trudging through knee length grasses....thank you for trusting me to capture you both on such a special day. Afterwards, your reception speeches brought tears to my eyes and warmed my heart. You're truly both as beautiful on the inside as the out.

I'm sure someone up there is just beaming looking down on the both of you.

Stacie & Shannon- Esession

div>Stacie and Shannon are getting married this September at Edmonton Golf & CC. We met for their engagements out by the cute little town of Rolyview and enjoyed all the nature the area has to offer. I enjoyed the nature a little too much as I tried to clear out some dead weeds for shot and mistakenly grabbed a handful of stinging nettle. True to its name it stinged for a good 24 hours until it turned to blisters. Lovely. But I managed to survive and still really enjoyed spending time with this awesome couple and talking about all their plans for their upcoming big day.
