Jasmine & Neil- esession

Jasmine and Neil are getting married in Jasper this September and I am so looking forward to this mountain wedding. It's a perfect place for this adorable couple to wed since they enjoy tearing up ski hills together. They also love the Oilers, much like Tim and myself, and any couple who can toughen out this dismal season shows a level of commitment that will make marriage a breeze...just kidding.

Thanks for hanging out on a cold winter afternoon!

Cheers,
Kelsy

Jennifer & Mark- esession

Jennifer and Mark are getting married next August at the beautiful Chateau Lake Louise. I'm already excited for their day! We got together to shoot their engagement portraits this week- another shoot in the cold! Edmonton's winter sure came early this year- what happened to the fall season? But the three of us toughed it out in the ravine with temperatures just around freezing. I really liked getting to know them better- we definitely shared a lot in common.

Here's a small teaser of some of your images.....

Cheers,
Kelsy

Amanda & Aaron- esession

Amanda and Aaron are super fun couple with great active lifestyles- when I asked them what they liked to do together the list was never ending. I thought that was awesome, it's great to share so many fun interests in marriage. We had an enjoyable evening walking through the paths of Wagner Natural area- always a beautiful place to spend a warm evening.

Thanks for a fun night,

Kelsy

Melissa & Richmond- esession

Melissa & Richmond are getting ready to tie the knot in 2010. We met for some engagement pictures on another beautiful fall day. Rich had one request: he wanted train tracks. We found some less busy ones south of city and was able to fulfill his wish.

Thanks for playing in fields with me :)

Cheers

Joni & Charles- esession

Joni & Charles are getting married in 2010 and we took advantage of our warm fall weather to sneak in an engagement session. Walking through the ravine trails we got to know each other a bit better. I really enjoyed hearing about their favourite restaurants and I can't wait to try out some of their suggestions. Yum!

Thanks for a great evening,
Kelsy

Angela & Mike- esession

Angela & Mike are getting married in October at one of my favourite Edmonton Venues, Union Bank Inn. We were able to meet up for an engagement session last night and enjoyed one of our fleeting warm summer evenings. I really enjoyed getting to know them better and hear a little about their lives.

Thanks for a great evening!

In joy,

Kelsy

Marisa & Rob- esession

Marisa & Rob are blessed with a great number of things. Beautiful looks, a loving relationship, great senses of humour and lastly, gorgeous light on their engagement session night. I basically live for summer evenings like that one, where the light dances across the field and warmth of the day lingers into sunset. Marisa & Rob were very fun to work with and we had quite a few adventures of our own that night- including being asked by a person (with subjectable clothing and home maintenance issues) to pay her 100.00 to take picture in her nearby field/old buildings. However her language was a lot more colourful. Good thing rural Alberta is filled with dilapidated old buildings and friendlier people who don't mind you spending a little time in their abandoned farms.

I also enjoyed thinking up famous people that Marisa & Rob looked like. I thought up quite a few, only problem was I called poor Rob by another name a couple of times while thinking up these celebrities. It was compliments I assure you :)

Thanks for a great night. Looking forward to your wedding next year.

Cheers
Kelsy

See, the summer light is just yummy.

Uh, yeah, Marisa is this stunning.

I think this is adorable. I couldn't help posting it, I just really couldn't.
