Stacey & Justin- eSession

Stacey and Justin are getting married next year in May and I'm the lucky one who's photographing their wedding. We got together tonight to shoot some engagements in St. Albert and got to know each other a bit better. Tonight was 24degrees, so you couldn't have asked for a better night....even if that sun set fast!
Thanks for the enjoyable evening, can't wait to show you the rest!

Cheers,
Kelsy

Baby Ryder

Ryder is one of my new favourite little men, born just 3 weeks ago. I finally got the opportunity to photograph him and loved every minute I spent with the super strong little guy. He's just so perfect! We shot these images in their living room and I even enjoyed some delicous homemade banana bread while working, what a bonus! Yummy!

Here are a few quick images....

Love and hugs,

Chan/Mah Family

I got the fantastic opportunity to photograph little Ella, Wing & Patrick yesterday and had such an enjoyable time shooting my first 2 year old! They are an adorable family and I loooooved spending time with them. I wanted to take Ella home after running around in the leaves and having various treats with her. I gave Ella her first lollipop (yes, I am not beneath bribing children) and it was hilarious to see her reaction :) One thing I did learn about 2 year olds is they will pretty much do whatever they want...so any ideas of images I wanted to create went out the window and we worked on Ella-time....which was perfect!

Thanks for spending a Sunday afternoon with me, I really enjoyed hanging with you all!

Cheers,

Kelsy

Stacie & Shannon- September 27 2008

Stacie & Shannon were married at Edmonton Golf & Country Club on Saturday in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The crisp fall air and the gorgeous fall colours of the river valley made the perfect backdrop for this *very much* in love couple. We enjoyed portraits on the CC grounds and had a fun afternoon shooting before heading in for a reception decorated superbly by Michelle French. The emotion filled speeches made everyone laugh and cry....I loved the stories from your childhoods, priceless! What a perfect day!

Thanks for having me as part of it.

Hope you're winning big in Vegas :)

Natasha & Sam- eSession

Natasha & Sam are an adorable newly engaged couple I met for the first time last night. They are beginning to plan their 2010 wedding and thought they'd start off with some engagement portraits. We headed a fair ways out of the city to a unique red field I stumbled across on my last location scouting day. The fall colours & warm weather were beautiful, but even more beautiful was seeing a couple so truly in love. It was wonderful to see two people who are just meant for each other together.

Thanks for sharing your night with me & good luck with your planning!

Cheers,

Sarah & Aaron

Sarah and Aaron were married on Saturday at Hope Lutheran. Their ceremony included a beautiful reading from the Velveteen Rabbit, which was a sweet and unique choice to personalize their day. Afterwards we headed off to the country for some rustic images and had a great time with the BP around the farm. During this time the hilarious groomsmen pelted me with the darts from their Nerf guns, and the darts stick perfectly to lenses...lol, all in good fun. The reception was at St. Basils', which was actually where Sarah parents had their reception years ago which was a very nice touch. All in all, a beautiful warm day with not a single hiccup, wonderful for this couple very much in love.

Hope you are having a great time on your holiday and I look forward to sharing all your images with you.

Cheers

Kristin & James- September 14 2008

Kristin and James were married in an intimate & moving ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends. Every time they looked at each other during the ceremony they both just beamed, it was so sweet to watch. Afterwards we headed out into the country to capture some portraits and enjoyed the warm fall weather despite the strong winds blowing Kristin's veil off again and again. I also like the fact that I could pull out my "Office" lines and be completely understood :) After having lots of fun in the fields they Bridal Party headed off to their reception at Northern Bear Golf Club where (based on their fantastic personalities)they all had a most enjoyable evening.

Thanks for the great afternoon! Hope you both have a lot of fun on your Honeymoon!

Be Blessed,

Kelsy

Chantal & David- September 13 2008

Chantal & David were married this past Saturday here in Edmonton. We were able to capture all the beautiful fall colours out at Chantal's family acreage. The area was stunning and the weather couldn't have cooperated better. The reception was held at Petroleum Club with beautiful decorating and lots of family and friends. This couple are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside and a real pleasure to spend time with. One thing is for sure...they will have the most gorgeous children! Their slideshow was fun to watch and see them both as the cutest kids EVER!

Thanks for including me in your day... good luck with all the changes in your lives right now, including your big move to Australia!

Cheers,

Kelsy
